Current website position
This pre-launch website does not yet transmit or store assessment-form entries. Do not submit identity documents, banking details, title documents or confidential transaction records through the website until a secure submission service is activated.
1. Who controls your data
TitleShield Limited (RC 9518873), Abuja, Nigeria, is the controller of personal data collected for its own website, enquiries and services. Privacy questions may be sent to hello@titleshieldpro.com.
2. Data we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect contact details, professional role, enquiry content, correspondence, consent records, website technical information and information needed to assess an identified property collaboration. We will not request sensitive KYC, banking or title documents through an unsecured form.
3. Why we process data
We process data to respond to enquiries, provide requested services, assess governance readiness, maintain security and records, comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, improve our services and send communications where permitted. The applicable basis may include consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests assessed against individual rights.
4. Sharing and service providers
We may use carefully selected hosting, email, security, document, professional and technology providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect lawful rights. We do not sell personal data. Transaction information will not be shared with unrelated parties for their own marketing without a lawful basis.
5. International transfers
Some technology providers may process data outside Nigeria. Before live data collection, TitleShield will document relevant providers and use lawful safeguards required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable guidance.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, contractual requirements, legal obligations, dispute preservation and legitimate recordkeeping. Before live onboarding, TitleShield will approve a retention schedule and implement proportionate access controls, encryption, backups, logging and incident procedures. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, information about processing, withdrawal of consent and review of certain automated decisions. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is completed.
8. Cookies and technical records
The current site uses only limited functionality required to display and operate the website. Hosting infrastructure may create security and access logs. If non-essential analytics, advertising or preference cookies are added later, we will update this notice and request consent where required.
9. Children and changes
TitleShield services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal data through this website. This policy may change as the platform develops; the current version and date will be published here.
This policy is a pre-launch operational draft and should receive Nigerian data-protection counsel or a qualified compliance professional’s approval before live personal-data collection begins.
