Legal & operational policy

Website Terms of Use

These terms govern access to this website. A separate signed agreement will govern any paid assessment, professional engagement or platform service.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Important distinction

Browsing this website or submitting an enquiry does not make you a TitleShield client, create an SPV, establish property rights, reserve an interest or form an investment relationship.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. You must have legal capacity to provide information or act for an organisation, property group or family.

2. General information only

Website content is educational and administrative. It is not a substitute for transaction-specific legal, investment, tax, accounting, valuation, technical or financial advice. No website statement guarantees title quality, project viability, returns, liquidity or dispute-free ownership.

3. No offer or money collection

The website is not an offer, invitation or solicitation to acquire securities or participatory interests. TitleShield does not use it to form public investment groups or receive project money. The Regulatory Boundary Notice and Money-Handling Policy form part of these terms.

4. Enquiries and assessments

Submitting information does not guarantee acceptance, a response within a particular time or a favourable assessment. Do not submit confidential documents, passwords, bank details, identity documents or payment instructions until TitleShield provides an approved secure route and engagement terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, impersonate TitleShield, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, interfere with operation, submit unlawful material or use TitleShield branding to solicit money or mislead others.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website copy, design, branding, graphics and original materials belong to TitleShield Limited or its licensors. Limited personal viewing does not grant a right to reproduce, commercially exploit, alter or present the materials as your own.

7. Third-party services and links

External links are provided for convenience or official reference. TitleShield does not control third-party availability, security, accuracy or terms. Users must conduct independent checks before relying on another service.

8. Availability and liability

The website may change, be suspended or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, TitleShield is not responsible for loss caused by treating general website content as transaction-specific advice, relying on unauthorised representations or using third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Law, complaints and changes

These terms are governed by Nigerian law. Concerns should first be submitted through the Complaints and Incident-Reporting Procedure. We may update these terms as services develop; continued use after publication means the updated terms apply from their stated date.

These website terms do not replace a signed client, platform, SPV, escrow or professional-service agreement.
